The Wet Sounds Stealth AS-8 powered sub gives you a bunch of bass power in a rugged housing that's tough enough for the great outdoors. This powered sub features a high-efficiency Class D amp that delivers 350 watts to its 8" speaker, so it's ready to bring powerful bass to your boat, ATV, or side-by-side.

Computer matched for optimum performance

The marine-rated 8" sub is computer-matched to the enclosure, so you'll get plenty of low-end performance from this compact package. It comes with a remote level control, so you can tune it to suit your musical tastes. You can choose between automatic or manual turn-on.

Built to take it

You won't have to worry about overtaxing it either, thanks to performance-oriented thermal and over/under voltage protection. The package includes a durable aluminum grille, so there will be no issues with anything in the boat sliding over and damaging your sub.

The finishing touch

If you already have a Stealth soundbar, this sub makes the perfect finishing touch to an awesome all-weather stereo system.

Note: This Wet Sounds sub only has a mini-jack input. If you want to connect it to a marine receiver that has a pair of RCA sub outs, you'll need a Hosa Stereo Mini Breakout Adapter to convert the male mini-jack into male RCAs.

Features

Stealth Series Powered Sub: The Wet Sounds Stealth AS-8 is powered subwoofer designed for Side-by-Side's, ATV's, golf carts, and boats. Its a high performance 2-wire, 12-volt audio system for your recreational vehicle.

8" High Excursion Woofer: The Wet Sounds Stealth series powered sub features a 8" high excursion woofer with a polypropylene cone and rubber surround for deep bass performance.

350W Class D Amplifier: The powered subwoofer's 350W Class D amplifier is sealed against moisture and dirt for extra protection and power.

Rugged Enclosure: The powered sub's tough and durable molded Polyethylene enclosure is designed to handle the harsh environment while providing superior sound. A durable aluminum grille is used to protect the woofer and match Wet Sounds' Stealth series soundbars.

Rear-Panel Controls: The Stealth series powered subwoofer is equipped with a gain control (min/max), variable low pass crossover (50-200Hz), variable bass boost (0-12dB @ 45Hz), and phase switch (0°/180°). These controls are located on the rear-panel of the powered subwoofer behind a clear plastic panel which must be removed by unscrewing six hex-head screws.

Wired Remote Level Control: The Wet Sounds Stealth AS-8 comes with a wired remote control to fine-tune the volume level of the powered sub with the rest of your system. The wired remote control features an integrated mounting bracket designed to mount under the dash or other flat surface. An attached 16' cable runs from the wired remote's mounting location to the powered sub's mounting location.

Minijack Input: The Wet Sounds Stealth AS-8's audio input consists of a male 3.5mm minijack connector that is attached to the powered sub via a 5' cable. This male 3.5mm minijack connector plugs to the female 3.5mm line output jack of your Wet Sounds soundbar or other amplified soundbar speaker's analog output.

Note: If connecting the AS-8 to a radio with female RCA outputs, a female-to-female 3.5mm TRS connector (979GMM303) along with a male 3.5mm-to-dual female RCA connector (979YRA154) will be required and are sold separately.

Auto Turn-On: The powered subwoofer's remote turn-on wire connects to the remote output on the Wet Sounds Stealth series soundbars. If you have a soundbar without a remote turn-on, the powered sub has auto sensing as well to turn on automatically.

Power/Ground Harness: The powered sub features an attached 5' power/ground harness which will need to be hardwired to your recreational vehicle's electrical system. The power (red) and ground (black) leads both have ring terminals attached. The Power wire also features an inline 30A fuse. In addition, there is a remote turn-on wire (blue).

Mounting Hardware: The Wet Sounds Stealth AS-8 comes with adjustable mounting feet and stainless steel mounting hardware.

Placement Options: The physics of sound tell us that any subwoofer increases its output when allowed to "load" into a wall, corner, or some other structure. Since every vehicle & application is different, we suggest you experiment & move the subwoofer around to find the optimal position.

Break-In Period: It is recommends that the AS-8 be played a moderate volume levels using normal music material for 6-8 hours before high-output demands are placed on the powered sub. Proper break-in will result in better sound and longer life of the product.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
