To ensure a smooth return process, customers must include the original sales receipt with any return. Additionally, a valid return authorization number must be clearly displayed on the outside of the package.
We accept returns for unused and unopened Houston Car Stereo products within 30 days of the delivery date. Before initiating a return, customers must first contact our customer service team either through our Contact Us page or by phone to obtain a return ID and approval.
After the initial 30-day window, returns may be denied unless the item is found to have a manufacturer’s defect. Approval of any post-30-day return is solely at the discretion of Houston Car Stereo.
To qualify for a refund or exchange, all returned items must meet the following standards:
* Be in brand new, unused, and unmodified condition
* Show no signs of installation, wear, or physical damage
* Be returned within 30 days of delivery
* Not be a custom or special-order product, such as alternators, personalized items, or custom-built enclosures
Some products may carry unique return restrictions or extended timeframes, which will be clearly noted in their respective product descriptions.
If your order arrives damaged and you opted for Route shipping protection, you must file a claim directly through Route to initiate coverage.
If you receive the wrong item or if your product has a defect in materials or workmanship, you may be eligible for either a full refund or store credit, pending our inspection upon return. You must notify us within 30 days of delivery to qualify.
Items returned for reasons other than manufacturer defects or shipping errors may be subject to a restocking fee of 20% of the product price. This fee helps cover inspection, repackaging, and restocking costs. The exact fee will be deducted from your refund and will be clearly communicated once your return is reviewed.
