The Kenwood Excelon KFC-X183 6-1/2" oversized speakers feature a 28% larger cone, packed into a frame that will still fit into the factory openings of many Dodge, GM, and Toyota vehicles (with some modifications). A bigger cone moves more air, so your music can have the fullness and punch you miss with most factory speakers. A diamond-array pattern etched into the cones increases their strength for improved dynamic response and lower distortion. The rubber surround resists weathering, providing reliable support that keeps your music playing, no matter what.

The 1" silk dome tweeters deliver all the high-frequency details smoothly, and special-design magnetic circuitry and powerful, lightweight magnets make these tweeters extremely accurate without sounding harsh. Kenwood includes multi-purpose and 6"x9" brackets that help these big bruisers fit in some Dodge, GM, or Toyota vehicles.

Grilles are not included; the factory grilles should be suitable for most applications.

Custom Brackets: The KFC-X183C is designed as a factory replacement speaker and includes adapters compatible with many GM, Toyota, and Dodge vehicles (one bracket adapts to a 6x9 opening, the other is a multi-purpose bracket and is scored for trimming to fit several applications). Please refer to the Crutchfield Car Selector to confirm fit for your vehicle.

Woofers: The woofer cones are Carbon/Polypropylene. They are oversized for a fuller sound quality than typical factory speakers. The Carbon/Polypropylene cones and rubber surrounds are durable, designed to withstand the harsh automotive environment.

Tweeters: Each speaker has a 1" soft dome tweeter for smooth, accurate highs. The tweeters use a neodymium magnet for higher efficiency.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
