The Virtus Nano 62 Carbon Integra 2-way speaker provides hi-fi performance like no other speaker can. The key player here is the famous Virtus Nano woofer, which rocks a mounting depth of only 11/16". Morel then incorporates a 1-1/8" silk dome tweeter deep in the center of the woofer. What you get is an extremely versatile speaker that's convenient to install and gives you awesome full-range sound.

Excellent sound quality

True to form, Morel's engineering team tested and improved this component system until it exceeded their uncompromising standards. You'll get the ground-breaking performance of the Virtus Nano woofer with the warm highs of the silk dome tweeter. The point-source placement of the dome tweeter minimizes phase error for the most accurate sound possible. Morel also includes external crossovers to deliver an ideal blend of the highs and lows for an incredible stereo image.

Features

Time Aligned Structure: The tweeter is concentrically aligned with the woofer, so sound radiates from the same point for both. This minimizes phase error and allows the sound field to be constant in all directions, improving time alignment.

Size Classification Note: Some manufacturers, including Morel, call this size speaker a 6½". Because it requires a larger cutout than a standard 6½" speaker, Crutchfield has traditionally referred to this size woofer as a 6¾". Please enter your vehicle information to confirm fit.

Woofer Dome: Morel describes the woofer as a Grand Dome, having a Triple Layer design; two exterior carbon fiber layers sandwiching a layer of Rohacell (a high strength, lightweight foam).

Tweeters: The silk dome tweeters are coated with Acuflex, a damping compound designed to minimize distortion.

Crossover: The outboard crossovers have screw terminal inputs and outputs (0.315" wide). A jumper inside each crossover allows you to adjust the tweeter output level; choose -2 dB, 0 dB, or +2 dB. The crossover is 12 dB/octave at 2.2 kHz. Because the woofer and tweeter have separate inputs on the speakers, they can be bi-amped using an electronic crossover. (2.5 kHz is the crossover point Morel recommends in this configuration.)

Returns Policy
