The time has come to upgrade the audio in your classic or custom car, and Morel has the eye-popping solution. The Virtus Nano 63 Carbon component system provides hi-fi performance thanks to three unique speakers — the MT120N silk dome tweeter, the MM2 convex aluminum alloy cone midrange speaker, and the Virtus Nano woofer. The key player here is the famous Virtus Nano woofer, which rocks a mounting depth of only 11/16". Morel uses their unique Hexatech aluminum voice coil and sandwich carbon fiber dome-shaped woofer to help deliver satisfying low-end punch and a rich, natural sound.
3-way sound quality
True to form, Morel's engineering team tested and improved this component system until it exceeded their uncompromising standards. You'll get the ground-breaking performance of the Virtus Nano woofer with the warm highs of Morel's MT120N silk dome tweeter. The MM2 midrange driver rounds out the system, making transitions from lows to highs incredibly smooth — you'll have to custom-mount the midrange drivers in most vehicles. Morel also includes their MXR130 external crossovers to deliver a powerful stereo image.

Features
Woofer Size Classification: Some manufacturers, including Morel, call this size woofer a 6½". Because it requires a larger cutout than a standard 6½" speaker, Crutchfield has traditionally referred to this size woofer as a 6¾". Please enter your vehicle information to confirm fit.
Woofer Dome: Morel describes the woofer as a Grand Dome, having a Triple Layer design; two exterior carbon fiber layers sandwiching a layer of Rohacell (a high strength, lightweight foam).
Controlled Acoustic Resistance: Car speakers are typically installed in free-air applications, providing minimal acoustic loading. Controlled Acoustic Resistance (C.A.R. Filter) improves the acoustic loading by controlling airflow within the driver, mimicking the effects of an enclosure. This provides greater control over the cone movement for improved bass dynamics.
Midrange Size: The midrange drivers are not a standard size; the frame is approximately 3" diameter. They can be top or bottom mounted, and have these dimensions:
- Top mount depth: 0.432"
- Mounting height: 0.375" (0.65" including grille)
- Flange height: 0.2"
- Bottom mount depth: 0.632"
- Tweeter Protrusion: 0.175" (0.45" including grille)

Tweeters: The silk dome tweeters are coated with Acuflex, a damping compound designed to minimize distortion. The tweeters can be surface or flush mounted using the included adapters. The surface mount housing angles the tweeters at approximately 40°. The dome is very delicate, so the mesh grille should always be used.

Crossover: The outboard crossovers have screw terminal inputs and outputs (0.315" wide). A jumper on each crossover allows you to adjust the tweeter output level; choose 0 dB or +3 dB. The woofers' low pass crossover is 12 dB/octave at 800 Hz. The midrange crossover's slope is 6 dB/octave and the crossover points are 800 Hz high pass and 5 kHz low pass. The tweeters' high pass crossover is 6 dB/octave at 5 kHz.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
