Smart design
Morel's Hybrid Integra car speakers don't look like your average coaxials and there's good reason. The Hybrid Integra 52 2-way car speaker recesses its dome tweeter in the 5-1/4" woofer cone to reduce phase problems and improve imaging. This "point source" design ensures a wider dispersion of high frequencies, even when you're off-axis. And Morel's clever integration of ferrite and neodymium magnets helps the speaker efficiently use power for even better sonic performance.
Morel innovation
Morel's paper composite woofer cone provides a robust, natural sound, while the soft dome tweeter is coated in Morel's one-of-a-kind Acuflex™ compound to enhance damping for cleaner highs. And the innovation doesn't stop there — Morel uses new Hexatech aluminum voice coil technology for better heat dispersion and efficient performance.
Coaxial crossovers
The external Integra crossovers use components developed by Morel to deliver an ideal blend of the highs and lows for an incredible stereo image. Three levels of tweeter control let you dial in the sound to your car's environment.

Features
Time Aligned Structure: The recessed tweeter is concentrically aligned with the woofer cone, so sound radiates from the same point for both. This minimizes phase error and allows the sound field to be constant in all directions, improving time alignment.
Crossover: The outboard crossovers have screw terminal inputs and outputs (0.315" wide). The crossover point is 2.2 kHz and the slope is 12 dB/octave. A jumper inside each crossover allows you to adjust the tweeter output level; choose -2 dB, 0 dB, or +2 dB. Because the woofer and tweeter have separate inputs on the speakers, they can be bi-amped using an electronic crossover. (2.5 kHz is the crossover point Morel recommends in this configuration.)
