Focal knows that adding bass to a small vehicle is a challenge. They designed the ISUB ACTIVE powered subwoofer to address this issue, so folks with bass-deficient systems in space-challenged vehicles can enjoy some low-end punch. At only 2.6" tall, this sub will fit under or behind many seats, where only old french fries and bottlecaps usually go. With a rigid aluminum chassis, it'll stand up to conditions in your tight spots while keeping the 8" sub safe and secure.
Raise your sound level
You can use the low-pass filter and subsonic filter to dial in the bass to blend with the rest of your system, while the phase switch ensures that this sub is working in concert with your full-range speakers. Focal includes a wired remote control so you can adjust the bass with a flick of your wrist.

Features
Overview: The Focal ISUB ACTIVE 8" amplified subwoofer features a low-profile, compact design that allows it to fit under or behind most seats and in tight spaces. It features an integrated 130W RMS (260W peak) amplifier that powers the flat 8" subwoofer for deep, clear bass. The powered subwoofer can accept either high- or low-level input signals, and includes a remote bass level control for adjusting the bass from your front seat.
Controls & Indicators:
- Auto Turn-On: 2-way switch determines the activation method for the amp; On lets you use a high-level input signal to activate the amp; Off requires a 12V trigger on the Remote terminal for activation.
- Level: rotary dial to set the amplifier gain control
- Bass Boost: rotary knob for boosting the bass level between 0 to 18 dB
- Phase: a push-button sets the subwoofer phase; 0° or 180°
- Low-Pass: rotary dial to control the low pass crossover frequency; range 50 to 180 Hz
- Subsonic: rotary dial selects the cutoff frequency for the subsonic filter; range 20 to 50 Hz
- Power Indicator: a power LED will light Green when the amplified subwoofer is powered on
- Protect Indicator: a protect LED will light Red if the amp detects a fault
Connections:
- Power: power, ground, and remote inputs are on a screw terminal strip; each is 0.23" wide

Wiring: The Focal ISUB ACTIVE amplifed subwoofer includes a pre-configured 9.5' T-harness that provides power, ground, remote activation, and high-level input signals for the powered sub. The T-harness features a high-level Molex connector and bare-ended power, ground, and turn-on wires that connect to the amp. Two sets of ISO harnesses on the 'T' end of the harness are designed to integrate directly into select European vehicles that use ISO connectors for the factory radio. The main power wire is protected by an in-line 20A ATO fuse.
Note: If installing the ISUB ACTIVE in a vehicle that doesn't use ISO connnectors, the T-harness ISO connectors must be cut off and the power, ground, remote and signal wires connected directly to the vehicle electrical system and your headunit.
Wired Remote Control: The wired remote puts control of your subwoofer output level within easy reach. The remote can be mounted using the included self-tapping screw or with adhesive tape (sold separately). The dimensions are:

Mounting: The subwoofer, with its height just over 2.5", can be mounted flat under or behind the seat of a wide range of vehicles. Four mounting feet are included to secure the subwoofer to a flat surface along with mounting hardware.
